Local Beer Day 2024 is a celebration of the Australian beer community. The aim is to bring together as many Aussie-owned breweries, bars, pubs, bottleshops and other beer businesses to host events on February 24, 2024, showcasing just how vast, diverse and colourful the local industry has become.
Our aim is for Local Beer Day to be welcoming, inclusive, community-focused and family-friendly.
As such, while we're keen to feature as many events as possible, we also want to make sure the day is showcasing the beer world in the best possible light. So, we reserve the right to reject any events that might not meet RSA regulations or appear to be promoting drunkenness, such as beer pong, free beer giveaways, drinking competitions and so on.
This is also about supporting independent Australian businesses who are facing unprecedented challenges right now, rather than the local brands of multinational operations.
